Since i’ve been away….posting progress on Katniss cosplay :P the jacket I’m wearing isn’t mine, it’s the official one that I’m borrowing from Kristin for reference when I start making one…

Anyhow, enjoy dutch braid and weird sorta dreadlock curlies that I sorta mimicked from this tutorial. Hopefully will be done for Renfest/halloween :D

Still avoiding tumblr since it’s still con season (afest is left!) Marathoned all of Korra today and worked on my Mai wig. So i accomplished 2 things today…

Totally inaccurate for but have a completed hawkeye quiver. ….the rest if the outfit will be like crap so just enjoy this for now.

So not ready for SDCC.

Also fml didn’t do rotate-y arrowheads but i’m just about dead anyways…

busy easter weekend :)

Friday: worked on X-23 claws after meeting up with some old high school friends. Earlier this week, Kristin helped me vector out a claw shape and got them cut out of acrylic (plexiglass) with the laser machine at school. SO AWESOME~

By pure luck, Daniel (my prop master) was in town and he helped me along the way for my new claws. Bought a belt sander that will help “sharpen” the claws into a blade like look and was testing that out while he used his drill press to get these awesome holes into the plexi to help wire up a grip.

Hopefully the sharpening process won’t go so bad…I’ve got one backup left @_@

Saturday: Avengers Marathon for Emily’s birthday @_@ we actually started Friday Night with Iron Man, and watched The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Captain America (slightly out of order), and Thor…then some Night Easter Egg Hunting 8D It was super fun until we couldn’t find the last egg…it’s out there…with the candy melting…ew.

We’re so ready for Avengers Screening that we may or not get in *A* praying we get in…

So i hope yall will forgive me that I’ve been away…if not…screw it :p it was quite productive.

I received my first lace front wig today!! Got a little excited and so already trimmed it and started straightening it for X-23 cosplay…

but now my other black wig (that i’ve had packed away for 6 years) is finally rendered useless…I should sell it :\

Because it’s late at night, and I wasn’t productive today, so I did a makeup test for funzies.

I will definitely need to shell out some bucks for colored contacts.

progress of Joey Wheeler wig. I did trim the sideburns/sidebangs more, but I think that’s it. I was hoping to get closer to the actual craziness that Yu-Gi-Oh wigs are like, but time/lazy/not really sure how to make bangs do…whatever you call that giant…something…he has on his head.

PS: At Afest I am going to have a Nyeh!Cat ringtone. Call me.
